Remi's agent

Remi is a texting assistant from Recharge that helps people manage their subscriptions. This page describes the browser agent Remi uses when a customer asks it to check or change a subscription at a store.

When it visits a store

• Only when a customer asks Remi, by text, to look at their own subscription at that store.
• It signs in to that customer's account through the store's own sign-in flow, with a link the store emails to the customer.
• It reads that customer's subscriptions, and changes one (a skip or a new date) only after the customer confirms by text.
• It does not crawl, index or collect anything beyond that one account, and it does not enter payment details or passwords.

How to recognize it

• Every request is signed with Web Bot Auth (HTTP Message Signatures, RFC 9421), with Signature-Agent: "https://api.hiremi.co".
• Our signing keys are published at https://api.hiremi.co/.well-known/http-message-signatures-directory.
• The User-Agent ends with Remi/1.0 (+https://hiremi.co/agent).
